About Animals Taiwan
Founded in 2004, Animals Taiwan is a nationally registered non-profit organization made up of concerned individuals, both locals and expatriates, dedicated to improving the welfare of animals in Taiwan.
Currently, our focus is on the plight of stray dogs and cats. We rescue sick and injured stray animals, rehabilitate, vaccinate, neuter, and re-home them. Our rescue center houses about 70 healthy dogs and cats, all of whom are currently awaiting adoption. Animals Taiwan believes in giving every animal a chance of a fulfilling life, free of abuse and suffering.
Animals Taiwan also focuses on humane methods that fix the root cause of the stray problem. We promote and perform TNR/CNR, educate the public about adoption and responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and truth behind pet stores and breeders.
