Find Your Perfect Pet
donatesponsor
thank you for choosing adoption!

Finding the perfect pet can be easy, but there are lots to consider!

There’s more to taking care of a pet than just giving it water, food and a home. Before adopting a pet, careful consideration and planning should be taken to choose a pet that is suitable and compatible for your personality, lifestyle and environment.  When you adopt, you are making a lifelong commitment to care for your pet for 10 to 15 years, and possibly even 20 years.  If your situation changes, such as getting married and having kids, or relocating, will you still be able to continue caring for your pet?

Adoption Process
We welcome you to our Linko Center to get to know our animals and to interact with themBefore your visit, we will ask you to complete an adoption questionnaire to help us understand your needs. If you see an animal you would like to adopt during your visi, you cannot take the animal home with you on the day.  We will arrange a time to send the animal to you, conduct a home visitation and take photos.  You will also be required to sign an adoption contract, provide a copy of your ID or ARC and pay an adoption fee of NT$2500.  This adoption fee is a donation to help us cover a very small portion of the animal’s neutering or spaying, blood tests, microchip and vaccination fees.

We provide a tryout period to allow the animal and you to have some time to adjust and adapt, and to see if you are suitable for one another.

Thank you for giving them a chance!

Frequently Asked Questions
After adopting i realize the animal is not suitable for me. what should i do?

We offer a tryout period for the animal and you to have some time to adjust and adapt, and to see if you are suitable for one another. If you feel the animal is not suitable, we will pick up the animal and return the adoption fee. If after tryout you decide to formally adopt, we will transfer the animal’s microchip to your name.

how much is the adoption fee ?

The adoption fee is NT$2500. This fee is a donation to help us cover a very small portion of the animal’s spaying or neutering, microchip, blood tests and vaccinations fees.

what is the difference between adopting, fostering and sponsoring?

When you adopt, you take the animal home and make a lifelong commitment to care for it and you are the legal owner. When you foster, you are helping us take care of the animal temporarily in your home while we are still the legal owner. We decide on which animal goes to foster care and we are responsible for the fostered animal’s medical bills.  If you really love animals but are unable to care for them at home, then you can sponsor an animal by making a monthly donation of NT$500 or US$16 to help us take care of them. We encourage you to come visit your sponsored animal.

i can't take care of my pet anymore. can i send my pet to your shelter?

We do not accept unwanted pets that you can no longer care for. Our space is reserved for those in urgent need.

can i take an animal home on the first day?

You cannot take an animal home on your initial visit. We will arrange a time to send the animal to you and conduct a home visitation.
