Saving Animals &
Finding Homes
Our History
Founded in 2004, Animals Taiwan is a nationally registered non-profit organization made up of concerned individuals, both locals and expatriates, dedicated to improving the welfare of animals in Taiwan.
Currently, our focus is on the plight of stray dogs and cats. We rescue sick and injured animals, give medical attention, rehabilitate, vaccinate, neuter and spay, and re-home them. Our center in Linko, New Taipei City houses about 50 dogs and cats, all of whom are currently awaiting adoption. We believe in giving every animal a chance of a fulfilling chance, free of abuse and suffering.
To fix the root cause of the stray problem, we also educate the public about adoption and responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and the truth behind pet stores and breeders.
What Drives Us
Our Mission
Animals Taiwan believes in giving every animal a chance of a fulfilling life, free of abuse and suffering, no matter how slim that chance may be.
