Sponsor-a-Paw
Participation in our Sponsor-a-Paw Classroom program provides students with an opportunity to help raise a pet without the obligation of keeping him or her in your classroom. The program is designed to fulfill a need of helping our holding center animals and at the same time, providing students an opportunity to learn about responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals. This program can be used in conjunction with teacher's everyday lessons and encourage students to help animals in their communities.
How the program works
‧ Classrooms decide which animal they would like to sponsor from the animals currently at our rescue center. Please see our dog/cat section on this website.
‧ A monthly contribution of NT$500 is collected from the classroom. This contribution comes from the students in the class. This contribution will mainly cover the medical expenses and will ensure a safe environment until he/she finds a permanent loving home.
‧ Sponsorship Benefits:
1. Ability to communicate to sponsored animal via e-mail.
2. Personalized e-cards on special occasions
3. Satisfaction that comes from helping an animal live a life free from suffering
To allow the students to interact with the animal being sponsored, Animals Taiwan schedules days on which we will bring the sponsored animal to your school. In this way, students can see first hand how their sponsorship is helping to improve the lives of their furry friend.
Animals Taiwan is also willing to come to your school to do individual classroom workshops related to animal welfare.
