Hello and welcome to another issue of the Animals Taiwan newsletter. In this issue we have lots of good news and practical tips on how to become an Animals Taiwan volunteer. Whether you have one hour a month or one hour a day, there are always ways you can get involved.
大家好 , 歡迎各位讀者再次讀閱動物臺灣 通訊報 . 在這次的刊物裏 , 我們有很多好的訊息以及實務情報提供給大家 , 不論個人時間長短的許可 , 每個人都有機會參與我們的義工團體 .

Thanks to the tireless efforts of our Volunteer Coordinator, Michelle Lo, Animals Taiwan's registration process to become a registered charity is running smoothly and will be completed on schedule. Michelle was able to recruit the 100 members needed for AT to complete our application. Thank you to all the people who have supported us by becoming members.
感謝我們的義工 協調者 ,Michelle Lo 不畏辛勞的致力於申請 Animal Taiwan 成為法定的慈善團體 , 目前進度相當順利也將如期完成所有程序 .Michelle 成功的達到申辦條件的 100 個會員需求 , 感恩所有成為 AT 會員的支持者 .

During the past month, a number of new positions have been established at AT. First and foremost is the appointment of Peter Dearman as Animals Taiwan's Interim Secretary General. Peter has been an active volunteer with Animals Taiwan for some time now, working as our Web Designer and as the leader of our Technical Team. Both AT's staff and volunteers are happy about Peter's decision to become our new “leader” and fill in the “gap” left by our founder Sean McCormack's departure to Guatemala.

Claire Tyrrell is now the “Co-Editor” of this newsletter. Claire has a lot of experience writing and will be using her excellent writing skills for the newsletter and to produce some education materials for Animals Taiwan.

Last but not least, we have a new Publicity Coordinator, Alice Chen. Alice is a professional publicist, very passionate about animals and EXTREMELY qualified for this position. We are thrilled to have her on board and excited about all of the wonderful plans she has for Animals Taiwan.
