TienMu Event Twice a month, Saturdays, 4pm-10pm Intersection of Zhong Shan N. Rd.and TienMu W. Rd.

AT started holding this weekly event in October. It has been very successful both in terms of raising money and getting sponsors for our animals. This long term event is also good for adoption as it gives us a chance to show off our dogs to the public. Because this is a regular event, people who cannot make it to the facility know that, if they want to see one of our dogs, they can come to TienMu on Saturdays. Flea Market at Grandma Nitti's No.8, Lane 93, Shi Da Road, Taipei (Grandma Nitti's Restaurant) Sundays, 4pm-8pm

By now, most people are familiar with AT's weekly flea market at Grandma Nitty's. A great place to get some great bargains, anything from books to clothes, toys to DVD's. Prices range from $10 to $400. All the money raised goes to help the stray animals, so why not do a little bargain shopping and help the animals at the same time!

AT will soon start doing adoptions at our flea market. So, if you want to get some good bargains and maybe pick up a dog or cat while you're at it, please visit the flea market.

This event is organized by Liza Milne. Liza is always looking for volunteers to assist with setting-up, wrapping up and merchandise sales. If you have time on a Sunday afternoon and/or evening and want to help out, Liza needs helpers at the following times.

SEEKING NEW EVENT COORDINATOR 徵求新的活動企劃 !
For over a year, Zoe has been doing a great job as our Events Coordinator. She has been responsible for organizing not only regular events like the one we have in Tienmu, but also for putting together our bigger events like the yearly Pet Festival in Xinyi. Recently, Zoe decided to step down from this position. We are sorry to lose Zoe as our Events Coordinator and are now looking for someone to fill her shoes. If you have experience or an interest in organizing events then please think about joining our Events Committee, either as a Coordinator or as a Host for one of our events.
近一年來，身為我們 AT 活動企劃的 Zoe ，除了負責 AT 的經常性活動之外，她也舉辦了像 AT 在信義區的年度寵物嘉年華等大型活動。 最近 Zoe 決定離開此職位，很可惜地，我們少了一位活動夥伴，也因此我們正在尋找適當的人選來填補她的職位。如果你具有豐富的經驗亦或是對企劃活動有興趣的話，不妨 考慮加入我們的活動小組，在這裡你可以企劃活動，也可以作為我們 AT 活動的主持人。

The responsibilities of the Event Coordinator include the following:

1. Acts as a coordinator for our various events committees, such as Flea Market, Pub Quiz, Social Evenings, Open House and 3rd Party-organized Events.
2. Recruits needed volunteers by asking the Volunteer Coordinator.
3. Works to develop new ideas for events.
4. Maintains close communication with the Fundraising Coordinator and the Publicity Coordinator.
5. Oversees updates to the website.
6. Writes up text announcement for each upcoming event once it has been confirmed.
7. Requests translations from Translation Coordinator.

活動企劃負責的任務包括以下幾個方面：

1. 企劃各種不同的 AT 活動，如跳蚤市場，酒吧機智問答，社交之夜， AT 參訪和配合廠商贊助的活動。
2. 招募組織必要的志工，藉由向志工組長要人。
3. 開發新的活動或創意點子
4. 維持募款組及公關組之間的緊密溝通。
5. 監看網站的更新
6. 幫已確認的新進活動製作文宣
7. 向翻譯組長要求翻譯

CONSIDER ORGANIZING AN EVENT 關於舉辦活動
Perhaps being an Event Coordinator isn't quite what you're interested in but you do enjoy planning events. Then why not consider organizing an event for AT? Some events are small and involve little more than showing up at an existing event with a donation box, some flyers and maybe a dog or two. Other events can be quite large and may include fundraising and publicity. In the past, volunteers have held their birthday parties in pubs and have asked their friends to donate money to AT instead of buying a gift and organized fundraisers in their favorite club. Recently, a volunteer decided to organize a pub quiz at the Brass Monkey to raise funds for AT!
也許你對作為一個活動企劃並不十分感興趣，但你仍喜歡規劃活動。 那為何不考慮為 AT 規劃一個活動？在某些小型活動可能只需要在現場帶個捐款箱、一些傳單或是 一兩 隻狗。而有些大型活動可能需要一場募捐及公關活動。之前有些志工在他們的生日派對時，希望他們的朋友捐錢給 AT 代替他們的禮物，他們也會在最喜愛的酒吧 內 舉辦募捐。前陣子還有一位志工決定在銅猴酒吧舉辦機智問答來幫 AT 幕集資金！
