A FEW SIMPLE THINGS YOU CAN DO 你可以做一些簡單的事
AnimalsTaiwan has found homes for many stray dogs and cats. We are very proud of this achievement. However, as we develop and become more ambitious about our future goals we want to do MORE! This means MORE education, MORE rescues, MORE CNR and last but certainly not least, MORE adoptions!
動物台灣已經為很多流浪狗和貓找到了新家。我們為此感到無比驕傲和自豪。然而，正如我們在發展並實現我們未來更遠大的目標，我們要多做一些！這意味著更多的教育，更多的救援，更多的原地結紮放養 (CNR) ，及更多動物被領養！

This is where you can help us! AnimalsTaiwan realizes that most people have busy lives and are not able to spend too much of their time volunteering. However, this doesn't mean you can't help. One area you can really help make a difference is with adoptions. From now on, in each issue of the newsletter you will find a few downloadable files profiling some of the animals we are currently trying to get adopted. These files can be downloaded, printed or emailed to people you know. This will help immensely in getting the word out to as many people as possible about our animals and will ensure that we find homes for more animals, more often. By getting more animals adopted we can do more rescues and help more animals in need.

Attached you will find adoption profiles for three adorable puppies whom we are currently trying to get adopted. These files can be printed off and distributed at your workplace, posted at your local coffee shop, placed on bulletin boards in your community center or anywhere else you think people might see them and take notice. They can also be emailed to everyone in your email address book.

In this issue we have focused on Elsa, Xian Tsao and Pippa, three puppies recently rescued in Wulai. Please have a look at these adorable puppies and consider adopting one of them yourselves or helping us find them a home!

Elsa's story
Elsa was spotted running around in the bushes behind a stray-animal feeding station. She kept coming closer then running away again; maybe she wanted to make friends but remembered and unhappy experience. Elsa finally gave in to her desire to be loved, and the people at Animals Taiwan were able to take her in, teach her to trust again, and now look for a home. She appears to be a Lab mix, and has all the characteristics. Her dream is that someone will finally make her part of a loving family. We hope so, too.

愛莎的故事
愛莎 被發現時，她奔跑在流浪動物飼養站後面的草叢裡。她一直試著越來越接近，然後又再遠離。又也許她想結交朋友，但她一直記得，過去不愉快的經驗。 愛莎最後輸給了她對人群的渴望，而在動物台灣的人終於能將 她帶回，教她再一次地相信人類，現在要為她找一個新家。她似乎是一隻有拉布拉多血統的混種狗，並且擁有所有拉布拉多犬的特徵。 她的夢想，就是希望能遇到一個願意給她 溫暖的家的人。我們也希望如此。

Other: Xien Tsao is an amputee. She also has the softest fur you have ever felt, and a gorgeous, please-love-me nature; she sits on command and waits politely to be fed .

Xien Tsao's Story
Xien Tsao doesn't know why she ended up on the street with a badly injured leg. She only has three legs now, but she knows better than to let that get in the way of her fun; she is as active and outgoing as any of her four-legged friends. Xien Tsao dearly wants a home. She loves affection yet is quiet and undemanding; maybe she knows she has to try harder because three-legged dogs usually get overlooked by all but the kindest people. She dreams someone will love her for the wonderful little lady that she is.

仙草的故事
仙草在新竹關西的路上被發現時，腳就已經受傷，現在傷腳也已被截肢，但她卻不改活潑開朗的個性，總是喜歡到處玩耍，她雖然外向，卻不吵鬧，也許她知道她必須比別人更努力才能得到善心人士的關愛 ，仙草需要一個愛她的家庭，那個人會是你嗎 ?

SUKA the HUSKY FLYING TO CANADA ! 哈士奇犬 SUKA 將飛往加拿大！
Suka is a gorgeous Siberian Husky who was rescued in Yilan and has been staying at the AnimalsTaiwan holding center for several months. Recently, it was decided that Huskies just don't belong in Taiwan and that Suka should be sent to live in a country whose climate was more suitable to a Siberian Husky. Suka will not flying to Siberia but he will flying to Canada , which can get almost as cold!
Suka 是一個華麗的西伯利亞哈士奇犬，在宜蘭被救出後，一直停留在動物台灣收容中心達數月之久。最近，我們決定哈士奇犬並不適合台灣的氣候，牠應生活在一個氣候 更適合西伯利亞哈士奇的國家。 Suka 不會飛往西伯利亞，但他將飛往加拿大，一個可以跟西伯利亞比冷的地方！

A Canadian organization, SiberRescue Ontario ( http://www.siberescue.com ) has offered to find a home for Suka. This month he will be flying to Toronto where he will stay with a SiberRescue volunteer until he finds a permanent home.
加拿大組織，安大略省西伯利亞救援小組（ http://www.siberescue.com ）已表示願意為 Suka 找一個家。這個月他將飛往多倫多，他會留在西伯利亞救援小組義工的家，直到他找到一個永久的家。
