In the last issue of the newsletter, Marjan Onrust and Marloes had just left for the Netherlands , taking with them 15 stray dogs and cats to be re-homed in various countries throughout Europe .
在上一期的電子報裡， Marjan Onrust 和 Marloes 帶著十五隻流浪貓狗出發前往荷蘭，在歐洲幾個不同國家為牠們找到安置的新家。

Recently Marjan sent this letter to update everyone on what had happened since they arrived in Amsterdam . Also included are some adorable pictures! The pictures are very inspiring and show how happy the animals are in their news homes.
最近 Marjan 來信，告訴大家他們抵達阿姆斯特丹之後的進展，同時還附上一些可愛的照片喔！這些照片很讓人感動，看得出來貓咪和狗兒們在新家過得有多幸福。 

15 Stray Fly to the Netherlands : An Update

15隻流浪動物飛往荷蘭:Marjan Onrust 記述最新狀況
THE FLIGHT of course was a huge success. For those of you in Taiwan , you may have seen the media coverage. Lisa, Marc, Ruey Hua, Paula, and Faustina got us to the airport and they and volunteers for SaveDogs helped us to put together the 15 crates, take all the animals through their final health and paper work check, walk the dogs one last time in Taiwan, and get them checked in, paid for, and on their way.

這趟飛行十分順利。台灣的朋友們也許在媒體上看到了相關報導。 Lisa 、 Marc 、 Ruey Hua 、 Paula 和 Faustina 護送我們到機場，他們是 SaveDogs 的志工，幫我們組合十五個板條箱，帶貓狗完成牠們最後的健康及證 件檢查，陪狗兒最後一次在台灣散步，然後送牠們登機。

All of us arrived in Amsterdam safely. Customs did not even stop us to check the animals!!!!!! On the downside they did not help us to walk our 8 carts - 15 crates through the exit (because it's not in their job description) and instead looked on amused when we, by having to go back and forth, set off the alarms and blocked the exit for at least 15 minutes with fellow passengers annoyed at us. Welcome back in the land of overly spoiled people.

我們一行安全抵達阿姆斯特丹。海關根本沒有要我們停下來好檢查動物！！然而他們也並沒有幫我們運送八部推車上 的十五個板條箱到出口處（因為這不是他們的職責所在，）而是帶著好玩的眼光看我們來回好幾趟，阻礙出口處的進出將近十五分鐘，還得忍受過往旅客的白眼。歡 迎來到養尊處優的國度！ 

Anyway, the dogadoptions NL foundation was there to meet Bliksem and although she was extremely reluctant to leave our side (which of course had us in tears), she is now with the fantastic family that she will spend the rest of her life with. She has lots of space to roam and run and a fellow dog and goats to chase. An intense bond has already grown between Bliksem and her owners, who find her intelligent and eager to hunt, which is exactly how we had come to know her. 

總之 dogadoptions NL 基金會前來見 Bliksem ，雖然她極度不情願離開我們身邊（這讓我們熱淚盈眶，）但是她現在找到了理想家園，並且將和這家人共度一生。她有寬敞的空間跑跳，還有一隻狗兒和羊群可以 追著跑。 Bliksem 和領養家庭已經建立起親密的關係，他們認為她既聰明又愛追捕其他小動物，這正是我們所認識的 Bliksem ！

The Red een Hond foundation met us at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport also, to pick up Grace and Coco . The pictures they sent us the very next day of Grace and Coco with their foster family speak a thousand words.

Red een Hond 阿姆斯特丹的基金會也在阿姆斯特丹的史基浦機場和我們會 面，他們是來接 Grace 和 Coco 。他們隔天便寄來 Grace 和 Coco 與認養家庭的合照，這些照片勝過了千言萬語。 

Joffi and Laifu went on their way to Belgium with the very friendly people of SOS Strays . Laifoo is still with this foster family (and very happy!), as SOS Strays is very thorough in screening potential definitive homes.

Joffi 和 Laifu 與 SOS Strays 的友善朋友們一同前往比利時。在 SOS Strays 全力為 Laifoo 尋找潛在領養人的同時，牠目前和這個認養家庭住在一起（並且過得很快樂！）

Joffi was a different story and was adopted only days after her arrival in Belgium . The woman who adopted her is a behavioral therapist (for dogs) and works with SOS Strays a lot. In addition she has spent time in Taiwan and fell for Joffi very hard, reminding her of the many dogs she had met in her days there. They are doing very well together!

Joffi 的情況就完全不同了，她在抵達比利時數日後便被領養。 領養她的女士是一位動物（狗兒）行為心理醫師，和 SOS Strays 有密切的合作。另外她在台灣待過一 陣子，深深喜歡上 Joffi ，讓她想起了她在那邊見過的許多狗兒們。她們在一起相處的十分融洽呢！

The 2 puppies we brought for SaveDogs were also picked up, so we could save my parents, (with whom we spent our first nights back in the Netherlands ) a lot of indoor peeing. Of course, Sugar made up for this splendidly within a minute of arrival, by having a long pee on the one and only Persian rug in my parents' livingroom. Hello!

我們帶給 SaveDogs 的兩隻小狗也被接走了，讓我的父母（我們回到荷蘭的頭幾天就是待在父母家）少掉 一些狗兒在室內尿尿的麻煩。當然 Sugar 在抵達幾分鐘之內，就在我父母家客廳裡的唯一一張波斯地毯上，好好的撒了泡尿哩。糟糕！ 

On that same day of arrival we took Pavlov, Sibbel, and Sugar to the beach, and they had a grand old time, running and playing until they just couldn't run anymore. (picture included)

在抵達的當天，我們帶了 Pavlov 、 Sibbel 和 Sugar 到海邊散步，他們玩得可開心了，又跑又玩地，直到再也跑不動為止。（有照片為證） 

Pavlov, Sibbel, Sugar, and the 5 cats TaiTai, Jopie, Chuan Chuan, Gou Le, and Donut remain with us today. I can assure you we are all happy as can be.

Pavlov 、 Sibbel 、 Sugar ，還有、 TaiTai 、 Jopie 、 Chuan Chuan 、 Gou Le 和 Donut 這五隻貓咪到目前為止依然和我們住在一起。我們的生活真是快樂得無以復加！
