SHEILA FUKUMOTO
Hi! My name is Sheila. I joined Animals Taiwan almost two years ago. I started going to the AT holding center because I really love dogs and just wanted to walk them. But I didn't expect to start going to AT as much as I do now! These days, I mostly help out at the AT holding center; cleaning, feeding, taking care of animals, etc. Many of the dogs and cats at the holding center have been injured or traumatized.. When they first come to the holding center, many are scared and do not want to get too close to people. But after being around the caring AT volunteers, they start to love people again and always welcome new volunteers with kisses and jumping. They are always so eager to get attention from volunteers! (this can be annoying when I’m trying to clean) Volunteering at AT isn't difficult at all!! It is really fun and the dogs and cats always make you smile! Please come to the AT holding center! Then you will know what I'm saying!!

JENNA KWIATOSKI
Jenna Kwiatoski is originally from upstate New York, but has spent most of her adult life either in Washington, DC or living abroad. She has been an occasional volunteer at Animals Taiwan for nearly a year, working at the AT fundraisers frequently held in TianMu. She first heard about Animals Taiwan through Reach to Teach, the foreign teacher recruitment agency that arranged her first job in Taiwan. She currently works in a corporate training firm teaching English-language classes and seminars. Besides helping at Animals Taiwan, she reads, draws and studies Chinese in her spare time, and plans to attend National Taiwan University's Mandarin Training Center in the spring.

BRENDAN CODY

He enjoys learning languages and has studied Korean, and is now studying Chinese. When not working or studying, he enjoys reading and frequently explores Taiwan's night markets and likes to taste any and everything available there.
