AT NEWS 動物台灣新聞
有三個人在收容所工作幫助很大，但這並不代表我們不需要志工們到收容所幫忙．我們很需要大家協助溜狗以及部分的清潔工作．溜狗以及清潔六十隻狗狗活動的區 域 並不簡單．若你志願幫忙，請與 聯繫 On Tap Sponsors Printing of New AT Postcard  AT
recently designed and printed a great new version of our postcard. In
an effort to boost our adoption rates and encourage more people to
adopt an animal rather than buy one from a pet shop, we have adopted
the slogan “ Adoption Saves Lives. Don't Buy a Pet .”
The new postcard has some great new pictures. Please have a look for it
next you're out!
On Tap (one of the best Pub's in Taipei !) was generous enough to sponsor the printing of this postcard. On Tap owners Bill Allen and Niall Clinton are both animal lovers and have been supporters of AT for a long time. We really appreciate their support this time around. Many of you may already be familiar with On Tap (or with its popular but smaller predecessor, Spaceman ). With a large group of regular and interesting patrons, an excellent Western pub style menu (“Excellent nachos and Mediterranean platter!”– Ed .), great drink selections, and a large-screen projection TV with satellite for watching sports, On Tap is a great place to meet new people and unwind. There is a Pub Quiz at On Tap every second Friday of the month from 22:30-24:30 and a live DJ every second Wednesday 22:30-4:00. To join the group simply do a search for “AnimalsTaiwan” (all one word) under groups and you will find us. The Facebook group is useful for getting and sharing information with other volunteers. If you have any questions you can email (or just message her on Facebook). 動物台灣現在有人物誌囉！ Animals Taiwan Needs Members to Become a Registered Charity! Please Help By Becoming a Member 動物台灣誠 徵會員以便成 為註冊的慈善機構！ 請幫助我們並且加入會員吧！ Animals Taiwan is currently in the process of completing its application to become a registered charity. This will help us immensely in the future, allowing us to apply for government funding, seek corporate sponsorship, get government support for our CNR program and so much more. 動物台灣目前正處於成為註冊慈善機構的申請過程中。這對我們未來的幫助將會非常大，譬如讓我們可以申請政府的資金、尋求企業的贊助、請政府對於我們的 CNR 計畫給予協助等等。 In order to complete our application AT must have at least 100 members. Membership fees cost 500NT a year plus a first time fee of 500NT . At least 50% of these members must be present at our membership meeting which will take place in early summer. Once you become a member of AT you can vote on the direction in which the organization should head towards. Members can vote and decide on how to best use budget funds. Both foreigners and locals are eligible to become members. Foreigners must have a valid ARC to join. Members must be over the age of 20. Visit the membership page to find out more.
