Dogs Caught in Gin Traps 遭捕獸陷阱所傷的犬隻
AT recently rescued two dogs caught in gin traps outside of the holding center. The dog with the trap on its leg was not badly injured and was released as soon as the trap was taken off. The dog with the trap on its mouth was badly cut up by a gin trap someone had placed in the area. Fortunately, he has now recuperated and is once again happily running around the neighborhood! It is very upsetting to know there are gin traps located around the holding center. Many factories around the holding center keep stray dogs and these dogs could easily be injured by these cruel traps.

AT 在近期內解救了兩隻因補獸器而受傷的犬隻 , 一隻是狗腳被 捕捉器夾住 , 另一隻則是嘴被陷阱卡住 . 慶幸的是 , 腳被補獸器夾住的那隻狗並未傷及生命 , 補獸器經工作人員移除後就立即釋放 . 另一隻嘴受傷的狗隻因為遭到有心人隨意放置的捕獸器的利刃割傷稍微嚴重 , 但也在照料後恢復狀況可以繼續正常生活 . 然而 , 收容中心外竟然遭人置放補獸器的事實讓人坐立難安 , 也極為不妥 , 因為附近不少的工場都有飼養野狗也都可能因為這些不人道的陷阱受害 .

Dog with Neck Injury Rescued in Yilan 在宜蘭解救脖頸受傷的犬隻
AT got a phone call from YiLan asking for help in catching a dog whose collar had cut through his neck. The collar had obviously been placed on the poor dog's neck when it was a puppy and had not been removed. The dog, now named “Dofu” , will soon have surgery to fix the injury. The kind people who asked AT for help donated 2000 NT to pay pay for the cost of having the dog neutered. Very nice people!

AT 前些日子接獲來自宜蘭尋求援助的一聽電話協助補捉一隻因為狗圈割傷脖子的犬隻 . 狗圈疑是在犬隻仍是小狗時安置上去卻未因年齡增長而移除 . 這隻可憐的狗現被命名為 “ 豆腐 ”, 將在近日安排接受手術 . 另外值得一提的是 , 來電 AT 解救這隻狗的好心人還樂捐了台幣 2000 元幫豆腐避孕 . 感謝這些好心人 .

This month has been a great month for adoptions at AT. Three of our dogs, Toga, Paula and Ringo and one of our cats, Mitzi, have been adopted into happy new homes.

這個月的領養成效很好 ,AT 的 3 隻狗 ,Toga, Paula 和 Ringo 以及一隻貓都被領養到了好的家庭 .

Toga Finds Great New Home in Yang Ming Shan Toga 在陽明山找到了新的家
Toga was recently adopted by Brad and Amy, a wonderful couple who live up on Yang Ming Mountain . Toga is living in a beautiful area with lots of space for her to run around and exercise. We are so happy to see Toga in a nice home. She was found with her sister as a puppy, small, cold and abandoned on the side of the road. Toga's sister was adopted soon after she came to us but Toga has been living at the holding center for quite a while. Usually a very happy dog, Toga had recently become a bit depressed. We think this is because she loves being around people and had started to feel quite lonely. Now she won't feel lonely ever again!

最近一對居住在陽明山的情侶 Brad 和 Amy 決定領養 Toga, 他們提供了完善的環境足夠的空間讓 Toga 可以盡情的活動 .AT 工作人員都很欣慰 Toga 找到了一個好的領養家庭 . Toga 是在小狗的時候和牠的手足被一起找到 , 當時牠們被遺棄在路邊受寒 . Toga 的手足被 AT 接收後不久即被領養 , Toga 則待在 holding center 有一段時間 . Toga 一直是一隻快樂的狗一直到最近顯得有些失落情緒 . 我們認為也許是因為牠喜好和人的互動因此少了這個因素就顯得寂寞很多 . 現在開始牠將不會再孤單了 !

Two of the Beatles Puppies Adopted 兩隻"披頭四"幼犬已被領養
A couple of months ago AT rescued four adorable and abandoned puppies; John, Paula, Ringo and George. John and George recently went to live at a shelter in Yilan in exchange for a beautiful Husky named Aho and Paula and Ringo stayed with AT. As you can see from the picture, the puppies are absolutely ADORABLE. It did not take long to find someone who wanted to adopt them. Paula and Ringo have just been adopted by a woman named Dana. Originally, Dana was only fostering Paula but after seeing Ringo, she decided the two dogs would be much happier together!

幾個月前 ,AT 援救了 4 隻可愛卻遭遺棄的小狗 , 牠們分別被取名為披頭四的成員: John, Paula, Ringo 和 George. John 和 George 近日被送往宜蘭的收容所 , 並換來了一隻漂亮的哈士其取名為 Aho, 和 Paula 及 Ringo 都將待在 AT. 如圖所示 , 小狗非常討人憐愛 . 並沒有花太久的時間找到飼主願意領養牠們 . Paula 和 Ringo 同時被一位 Dana 女士所領養 . 原本 Dana 只是計劃收養 Paula, 但是看到 Ringo 之後 , 她決定兩隻狗在一起會更快樂 .
