CAT
ADOPTIONS
People often think that AnimalsTaiwan
is a group that only helps stray
dogs. This is not true. We do have a number of cats available for
adoption and fostering. Last year, we built a special cat house at the
facility which houses, on average, five or six cats at a time. You can
visit the facility or visit our website www.animalstaiwan.org and check
out the “Adopt/Foster” section.
During the past two months we have found permanent and foster homes for
a number of our cats.
‧Diana adopted two of our cats.
‧Julia came to foster Socks and Sol. She
has already found some people who are interested in adopting them.
‧Peggy is fostering Anna the cat and
someone is interested in adopting her.
If you are thinking of adopting or fostering a cat please considering a
cat from AT!

咪認養
大家常以為動物台灣只有幫助流動狗，其實不然。我們也有不少待認養的貓咪。去年收容所新建了貓舍，平均隨會有5至6隻貓。你可以來收容所或上我們的網站
www.animalstaiwan.org中的“Adopt/Foster”(領養/認養)專區看看。
過去這2個月我們幫一些貓咪找到了飼主：
‧Diana領養了2隻貓
‧Julia收養了Socks及Sol。她也幫牠們找到了有興趣領養的人。
‧Peggy收養了Anna，目前也有人有意領養牠。
如果你也有意願認養、或願意中途收養貓咪，請考慮動物台灣的貓咪！

DOG
OF THE MONTH
In each issue of the newsletter, we would
like to highlight a dog or cat that we think would be particularly
suitable for adoption. Obviously, we love all our animals and urge you
to visit our website or visit the facility if you are thinking about
adoption. In the meantime, if you or anyone you know is thinking of
adopting a dog, please consider adopting AL.
LITTLE
AL NEEDS A HAPPY HOME!
Al is a six-month-old male mixed breed who has been living at the AT
facility for several months. He was found as a small puppy by an
AnimalsTaiwan volunteer who saw him running around, looking lost and
scared.
While he seemed healthy at the time it soon became apparent that poor
little Al had Distemper, a terrible disease that attacks the nervous
system and can often be fatal.
Because Al is such a little trooper, he managed to pull through. The
wonderful vets at Yang Ming Clinic did a great job of treating him and
he is now a happy healthy little guy ready to be adopted.
We've chosen Al as our dog of the month because we think he would make
a wonderful pet. He has a great personality and loves people and other
dogs. Al is very happy at the facility and loves being around all the
people and other dogs (he even has a "girlfriend").
However, he really
would be happier in a home with a family who loves him.If you or

小AL
需要一個快樂的家! 
Al是一隻6個月大的公米克斯，他已經在AT住了幾個月了。他在小時候被AT的義工在路上發現，當時他迷路了，又很害怕。
收容他後，沒想到他得了犬瘟熱，這種疾病可能會致命。所幸在陽明哭獸醫院的悉心照料下，他戰勝了病魔，現在他的健康狀況良好，很適合被領養。
A1被選為“本月狗狗”是因為我們認為他很適合當一隻寵物。他個性很好，喜歡人類和其他的狗（他還有女朋友
”呢）

RESCUES
On a less cheerful note, AT had recently rescued some animals who were
in very bad shape. Here are a few of our most recent rescues.
Judy
A dog from San-Shia who was hit by car 6 months ago and paralyzed from
the waist down.
Angelo
Rescued near Fu-Sin and Nan-King (outside of happy Angel School). He is
an old male black dog who has a cancer.
Dolly
A female dog found in the middle of the freeway with a broken leg and
internal injuries.
Curly
A 3-week-old kitten was rescued from SinBeiTou with flu like symptoms.

Four puppies were found with bad skin disease in an empty pool around
SinHai, Shida area. We need them to be fostered or adopted ASAP. |

Roobarb(Dog)
& Custard(Cat)
Roobarb, a male puppy and Custard, his best friend, were found huddled
in a small cardboard box in Yang-Ming Shan. They had been dumped by the
side of the road. Roobard is lame from an old leg injury.
