Our event at Yang Ming Veterinary Clinic in Tien Mu has been going for a couple months now, held on every Saturday and Sunday from 2pm till 8pm. The location is small but it is in a very busy area and a great location. Each time we hold the event there we manage to raise around $10,000 from the sale of our merchandise and donation collections. Also, we always have a few of our dogs on hand for adoption.
For an event like this, we need at least 3 to 4 volunteers each time. One volunteer will look after the dogs, one volunteer will be designated as a cashier and one or two volunteers will be giving out our AT postcards, collecting donations and generally chatting with passers-by about the work AT does, or how to adopt one of our dogs if anyone is interested, plus of course encouraging them also to join AT and volunteer.

我們在天母陽明獸醫診所已經連續舉行了好幾個月，活動是在每個星期六和星期天下午兩點持續到傍晚八點。地方雖然很小，但是這個地點絕佳，人潮也很多。每次我們在那裡辦活動，我們都能設法從商品拍賣和捐獻等等湊到一萬元。還有，我們一定都會有幾隻狗兒可供人們認養。
就這樣的活動而言，我們每次都需要至少三到四個志工。其中一名來照顧狗兒，一名是出納員，而其他一兩位則需要分發我們的AT明信片、收集捐款、還有與路過的人聊聊AT的事工、跟有意想要認養狗兒的人談談手續方式、以及鼓勵他們參加AT成為志工。

Dog cookie sales have been one of AT's most consistent sources of revenue since the group's beginning. At least once a month, usually on a Saturday, volunteers have been getting together to make cookies at Vickie Wu's CitySky near the Nanjing East MRT station. This is a lot of fun and a great way to meet other AT volunteers. If you are a new volunteer, this is also a great way to find out more about AT.
